Description
This invitation-only club has had a tremendous influence on sports history in New York City and beyond. Established in 1868, the group organized the first US golf, boxing, and track and field championships, and its members have won an astounding 200-plus Olympic medals. The New York Athletic Club also rewards great achievements in sports through events like the Winged Foot Award Dinner. The club also rents guestrooms to members and visitors.
