Montreal-based high-end leather goods brand Want Les Essentiels de la Vie was founded in 2007 by identical twin brothers Byron and Dexter Peart. The duo set out to create a line of luxurious but affordable leather bags, backpacks and totes. Inside their bright-white, mid-century modern West Village store, shoppers will find a “carefully edited selection” of the essentials in life—travel bags and accessories for the commuter and traveler, designed for function and style. The shop also carries clothing, home goods and accessories from other brands.
