Pioneer Books

An extension of the Pioneer Works arts and culture organization, this bookstore may be tiny, but its highly curated stock means that there are plenty of one-of-a-kind reads. In keeping with the ethos of the arts space that birthed it, the store specializes in new and used books on a broad range of topics related to creative thinking such as poetry, philosophy, music, culture and beyond. Books by artists whose work is on display at the Pioneer Works space are also included. Visitors can also find works put out by local small presses, as well as the organization’s own in-house press.
