Description
For the uninitiated, a botanica is a shop that sells religious statuary, candles and jewelry, as well as folk health remedies, Santería goods and other spiritual products. Justo, which first opened in the 1930s, is East Harlem's oldest botanica, the neighborhood's one-stop shop for all things mystical. Whatever problem haunts you, Justo offers a solution—from potions for curing heartbreak or losing weight, to candles to help draw love into one's life or win a court case.
