The sartorial superiority of the British is in dispute, but American gentlemen can upgrade their wardrobes by stopping in at the new men’s boutique in the West Village, Grahame Fowler. Fowler’s finely crafted clothes haven’t been widely available in the States until recently (though they are all manufactured in the US); his designs exemplify the modern dandy on either side of the ocean—relaxed and comfortable menswear with delightful details. The store is decorated with Vespa scooters—an appropriately mod touch.
