Duane Reade, when it finally arrived on Williamsburg's main drag, was a source of local controversy—it’s one of the first chain stores to colonize Williamsburg—but this two-floor location is packed with much more than the usual convenience-store amenities, including a walk-in beer cooler (the store even offers growlers for tap beer that can be refilled), an ATM and a food section that includes produce, pre-made snacks and sandwiches.
