The collectively owned, volunteer-driven business is focused on social activism, hosting readings, workshops, discussions, films and performances on a variety of topics. The more than 6,000 titles on the shelves cover such topics as racial education, feminism, climate and environment, race and black studies, queer and gender studies, and political theory. Inside you’ll also find a café offering organic, vegan and fair trade items.
