Acne Studios was founded by creative director Jonny Johansson—who has woven his love of photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture into this Swedish brand that produces clothing, furniture, magazines, books and exhibitions. At this West Village store—the second following the Greene Street location—metal walls, shelves and racks allow the clothing to take center stage. Johansson focuses on expert tailoring and the use of custom fabrics to create his collections of men’s and women’s ready to wear, denim, footwear and accessories.
