Description
Greek and Cypriot cuisine come together in Astoria's Zenon Taverna. Chef Stelios Papageorgiou studied culinary arts in his native Cyprus and continues to import herbs, spices and wines to season his dishes. At the inviting family-run restaurant (his wife Dora and three daughters work with him), the menu includes dishes such as souzoukakia (lamb meatballs in cumin), pastitsio (Greek lasagna with pork) and daily specials.
