Where can a tourist get a cheap slice of pizza in this town? Right here at Z Grill Deli, which didn't even use the recession as an excuse to change its long-running dollar-slice-of-cheese special. Sure, there are other 99-cent and dollar slice joints in the City, but this bodega-pizzeria runs the special all day (some others have time restrictions). Head to the back, past the gyros, past the deli counter, past the rows of chips and candy and gum, and ask the guy behind the counter for a fresh slice. It may take him a minute to make it, but it will worth the four quarters you dish out.
