Flavors are big and bold for such a sliver of a place. Mirrors on the walls are a pretty touch but don't do much to fool you into thinking that it's any larger than your average suburban walk-in closet. Locals are devoted to the classic Thai favorites found here, so there can be a wait for a table at night. The BYOB policy increases Wondee Siam's popularity. And you very well might need a slug of beer in between bites of basil fried rice with chili paste or spicy glass noodles mixed with shrimp, squid, ground chicken, chili and scallions. The lunch prix fixe is a great deal, served from 11:30am to 3:30pm on weekdays.
