Description
Wallflower feels like the kind of place from a classic film set in the West Village. With its gold-painted tin tile ceiling, floral wallpaper accents and sharply dressed bartender behind a four-seat, marble bar, chef Jeremy Salamon (The Eddy, Buvette, Locanda Verde, Prune) has put together a market-driven menu with hints of French regional cuisine with complex flavors. Current highlights include smoked Manilla clams with rosemary, toasted sourdough bread and aioli, and the Berkshire pork belly with celeriac remoulade, pickled mustard seeds and treviso.
