Out of Business

Description

Formerly New York staple Charlie's Clam Bar, this generous space has been converted into an Italian-inspired Mediterranean restaurant by owner Danae Cappelletto, whose dad, Giuseppe, is a famous Australian restaurateur. From the name (a nod to the stone used to build the Roman Coliseum) to the classic menu (think beef carpaccio, grilled rack of lamb and black spaghetti), it's an upscale trip across the sea.
