Upholstery Store
Out of Business
Description
Before or after dinner at Wallsé, Kurt Gutenbrunner's intimate Austrian restaurant, diners stop in his charming wine bar around the corner for a glass of sparkling wine or perhaps an interesting red from Morocco. The Upholstery Store is experimental, with an eclectic list of snack foods like pickled vegetables, various cheeses, smoked sausages, liver pâté and liptauer, an Austrian cheese dip with paprika. There is no kitchen, but it's possible to book a group here for a party and get a family-style catered dinner from Wallsé. There's also no phone here because the wine bar does not take reservations, but you can call Wallsé for more info.
