The Sparrow Tavern is a cozy spot that offers good food, plenty of drink and enjoyable ambience. The menu is eclectic, encompassing chicken tinga tacos, a "country-style terrine" and homemade crab cakes. The brunch menu has all the trimmings of an ideal weekend repast—like a prosciutto and brie omelette made with organic eggs—and features a veggie burger that is also available throughout the week at lunchtime; the sweet-potato fries are available anytime.
