Description
When it opened in 2008, Rockaway Taco became an instant success, with lines snaking around the block at its Beach 96th Street location. After closing for the season in 2014, co-founder Andrew Field decided to shutter the venue permanently and open a new taco spot, Tacoway Beach, inside nearby Rockaway Beach Surf Club at Beach 87th Street. In addition to the ever-popular tacos, Tacoway Beach offers ample seating and a full menu of alcoholic beverages. Field’s fans are sure to flock, so expect long lines.
