Description
Sugarcane is a striking Brooklyn venue on the banks of the East River, in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge. The bones of the dark, industrial space are rock walls, exposed brick and timbered beams. The former warehouse is now festive thanks to a raw bar, a cocktail bar and plenty of seating. The fusion menu, by award-winning chef/partner Timon Balloo, includes sushi and sliders plus beef short ribs, chicken, fish and lamb chops grilled over an open fire.
