Gino Sorbillo is a master pizzaiolo from Naples, Italy, where his family’s pizzeria dates back to 1935. His US outpost has been greeted with kudos and long lines down the Bowery, so time your visit strategically. The casual space is done in wood, marble and bold graphics, with a blazing pizza oven in back. The crusts are airy, soft and chewy, the toppings sublime. There are also good, economical wine choices.
