Seva is a neighborhood gem in a part of Queens where Indian food is hard to come by. A local fixture for 15 years, this restaurant serves consistently delicious food with generous portions. The $15 lunch special—offered daily, even on weekends—includes an appetizer and entrée. The dinner prix-fixe option, which includes dessert, is $25. The samosas never fail, the curries always hit, and the service is excellent. If you want to mix it up, try the mulligatawny soup, baigan bartha or kerala lamb.
