Sam’s Soul Food

Sam Amoah, a native of Ghana, opened this soul food restaurant, bringing to the Bronx some of the best Southern cuisine in the City. Comfort food favorites include enormous portions of smothered pork chops with rice, peas and collard greens, ribs with collard greens and yams, jerk chicken, mac and cheese and fried whiting. The restaurant also features drink specials, karaoke nights and DJs on weekends.
