Saint Julivert Fisherie

Description

Alex Raij and Eder Montero earned a Michelin star for their acclaimed Iberian restaurant, La Vara. For their next act, the couple opened this spot two doors down as an ode to seafood. Located in Brooklyn’s residential Cobble Hill neighborhood, Saint Julivert Fisherie has an austere design, with a few high tables, a curving stainless steel bar and counter seating. Fish is of the highest quality and prepared in a number of ways: pickled wild shrimp, raw scallop tacos, fluke ceviche and crisp-edged tuna bake with Indian accents of turmeric and curry leaf. In keeping with the theme, the wine list focuses on coastal regions around the world.
