Sabbia
Description
Sabbia is Italian for "sand," and at this Eataly-based restaurant you will feel as if you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean coast with seafood selections galore. The pop-up rooftop eatery feels miles from Manhattan, with its bright, open and airy decor that is more laid-back seaside food shack than stuffy NYC restaurant. Menu highlights include oysters on the half shell, locally caught swordfish, seared branzino with fennel, grilled octopus, a healthy selection of cheeses (including housemade mozzarella) and even a few meat selections for the non-seafood eater in your party. A full menu of wine, beer and cocktails complements the food selections.
