Sex and the City devotees may recognize this hideaway from Carrie’s date with Russian suitor Aleksandr Petrovsky, played by Mikhail Baryshnikov. The classic Russian staples they enjoyed—like borscht and pelmeni—are still served, and Baryshnikov is actually part owner of the Theatre District spot. The menu of vodkas—including herb- and fruit-infused varieties—and Russian and Georgian fare accentuates the Russian social club feel, as does the piano player.
