Roman's

Description

The proprietors behind Roman's have a mini-empire in Brooklyn, with Diner, Marlow & Sons and Marlow & Daughters (an artisanal butcher shop featuring local, pasture-raised meats from small farms) under their belts. They all have a similar hipster vibe and sensibility, employing quality seasonal ingredients. The leanings are toward Italy here, although the restaurant's name comes from the owner's son and not from the city. On the menu, which changes daily, you'll likely find exquisite antipasti, pasta with a meaty ragu, correctly prepared fish and steak.
