Ristorante Aglio

Out of Business

Description

Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. Ristorante Aglio features authentic Italian cuisine, served in a handsome space of exposed brick and dark wood, in the neighborhood of TriBeCa. The menu encompasses different regions of Italy, from Liguria (linguine alla Genovese) to Milan (pork Milanese) and beyond. The wine list is comprehensive, mostly Italian, but with a few other countries represented as well. The cocktails are creative, such as the Basilico Fizz, which is concocted from the house-made garlic-infused vodka inspired by the restaurant's namesake "aglio" ("garlic" in Italian).
