Reynard

Out of Business

Description

The Wythe Hotel is a fashionable brick fortress catering to musicians booked at Brooklyn Bowl, Europeans with an artistic bent and intrepid travelers ready to explore boroughs other than Manhattan. The hotel is also a destination because of its glamorous restaurant, Reynard; its rooftop bar, Ides; and its proximity to Brooklyn Brewery and vintage specialist Beacon's Closet. Reynard is open from breakfast on through the night, with a high-ceilinged, jazzy café and bar and a vast dining room and outdoor patio in the rear. The menu is seasonal American with French accents, featuring a grass-fed burger, Toulouse-style sausage with rhubarb mustard, and softshell crab with grilled asparagus and egg. It's run by Andrew Tarlow, the restaurateur behind the cultish Diner and Marlow & Sons.
