Pietro Nolita

Description

Think pink when it comes to Pietro Nolita, bathed inside and out in varying hues of the color. The downstairs café on Elizabeth Street has a fashion industry following thanks to the owners: Pietro Quaglia, who once worked at Dolce & Gabbana, and Mina Soliman, who has a history in the nightlife business at hot spots like Indochine and the Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room. At breakfast they serve chocolate croissants with coconut flakes, ricotta crostini with figs and hazelnuts and soft scrambled eggs with onions and prosciutto. Nighttime brings on Italian fare, like pasta alla carbonara and branzino with pink peppercorns.
