Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao

Description

Flushing is known for its Chinese food, but you’ll be hard pressed to find soup dumplings that are better than the ones at Nan Xiang. The interior of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, but let’s face it: you’re not here for the atmosphere. You’re here for the Michelin-recommended Shanghainese food like the aforementioned dumplings, crispy scallion pancakes, spicy beef and tripe, rice cake with shredded pork and steamed buns. Nan Xiang also offers dim sum. Beware: it can get crowded and a line often forms, but it moves quickly.
