Murano Ristorante
Description
Milan Licul, a legend among New York City restauranteurs, got his start more than 50 years ago, at his family’s small café in Croatia, and by 1983 he launched a restaurant with his friend and fellow countryman Branko Turcinovic, opening the original Murano Ristorante in Manhattan's Garment District, featuring the fine northern Italian dining that became his trademark. This restaurant marks the return of that 1980s-era nameplate. Executive chef Cesar Dutan infuses elements of Italian, French and Asian flavors into his culinary artwork. He has graced the kitchens of many legendary dining rooms, including; Jean George, Amacord, Osteria Stella, Bobby Vans, Felice, Blue Bird London and Delmonico’s Steakhouse. Cesar’s passion for pastas, risottos and Italian classics, paired with his adventurous and positive spirit and approach to cooking, translate into an inspiring menu of authentic Venetian staples and flavors from across Italy with daring twists and visual flair.
