Mission Ceviche - Union Square

Description

Mission Ceviche was born in 2015 when chef Jose Luis Chavez and partner Brice Mastroluca outfitted a modest stall within Gansevoort Market to create an homage to the flavors of Peru. The initial success at Gansevoort Market spurred the establishment of a second fast-casual spot in Canal Street Market, and building on the momentum, the partners took Mission Ceviche to new heights with the opening of its first sit-down restaurant on the Upper East Side in 2019. The restaurant found immediate critical success after launching, earning a star from Pete Wells at the New York Times and a feature in the Michelin Guide. Mission Ceviche has become synonymous with modern Peruvian cuisine, offering a diverse array of dishes crafted from the freshest ingredients.
