All kinds of notables, as well as local Columbia University students, have been known to frequent this takeout or eat-in spot, where owner and former model Norma Jean Darden dishes out favorites from <em>Spoonbread and Strawberry Wine,</em> the best-selling cookbook she wrote with her sister, Carole, in 1994. It's old-fashioned comfort food, along the lines of fried chicken, smothered turkey wings, biscuits, pies and homemade sweet tea.
