Minton's

Out of Business

Description

Minton's is the place where bebop was born. Established in 1938, the Harlem nightclub became the setting for a revolution in jazz. Owners Richard Parsons and Raphael Benavides spearheaded a renovation of the space and the jazz supper club now celebrates the modern steakhouse cuisine. The house band features accomplished jazz musicians, some of whom played at Minton's during its previous incarnation.
