Mermaid Oyster Bar

Description

Mermaid Inn restaurants have devoted followings for well-prepared seafood and free chocolate pudding at the end of dinner. At this third outpost from owner Danny Abrams, the focus is on oysters. There are 16 kinds—eight from the East Coast, eight from the West Coast—that are fun to mix and compare. The menu also offers classic fried calamari, clam strips, lobster bisque and a selection of fresh grilled fish. The white, pretty space makes you feel like you're at the beach, though the lighting is more subdued.
