Malatesta Trattoria
Description
Don’t be fooled by the casual interior of Malatesta Trattoria—the food is elegant and elevated, but also surprisingly reasonable. The menu is seasonal and updated regularly, posted in handwritten format in the window in case you’re passing by. Homemade pastas (like gnocchi and tagliatelle) are a crowd favorite here, along with extraordinarily fresh burrata, bruschetta and calamari. Though casual, it does offer a rustic and romantic atmosphere, which is great for a date night. But don’t forget to stop at the cash machine before you go, as they do not accept credit cards.
