Maggie's Place, one of the oldest family-owned restaurants in Midtown, was opened in October 1974 by Teddy and Maggie Whelan, who both immigrated from Dublin in 1958. Operated by the Whelans' son since 1992, Maggie's Place serves up shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, fish and chips, burgers and pub fare alongside a selection of wine and beer.
