Description
This Sicilian pastry shop has been baking on-premises for three generations, and is crowded with local ladies getting bread for supper and epicurean tourists visiting to sample the neighborhood’s famous cannoli. On the savory side, the lard, olive or provolone loaves are much-lauded favorites, while sweet teeth are satiated with the wide variety of nutty cookies, flaky pastries and, of course, cannoli—each crispy-crackly pastry shell is made to order with tangy fillings.
