Loreley Williamsburg

Out of Business

Description

This contemporary take on a German biergarten has Gemütlichkeit, the notion of belonging and socializing. An abundant selection of German beers on tap furthers along the good cheer. The bar is an indoor-outdoor affair, and in summer there's nothing more pleasant than whiling away the hours under a table with an umbrella. The high-ceilinged, industrial indoors is where to watch live German sporting events. Holding up the traditions of Rhineland and Cologne, the comfort-food menu includes bratwurst, schnitzel, braised pork shank and roast beef with potato dumplings and braised red cabbage. This is the new branch of the highly popular Loreley on the Lower East Side. After the kitchen closes, the bar stays open until 2am on weeknights, 4am on weekends.
