Lobster Joint

Description

The Lobster Joint is just a few blocks away from Newtown Creek, the industrial waterway that delineates Brooklyn from Queens, but this year-old, casual counter is fishing in far cleaner waters for its fresh display of lobster rolls, seafood salads and chowder. The sea-centric menu is inspired by the classic crustacean shacks that dot the Eastern seaboard, and while there’s a hamburger and roasted chicken for the pesce-phobic, even brunch is fishy: try the crab and asparagus omelet or lobster rancheros, which are even nicer when enjoyed in the backyard.
