A dimly lit, upscale restaurant with elegant chandeliers, red curtains, globe pendant lights, and neatly set wooden tables, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The bar is illuminated at the far end of the room.
A large clam shell filled with oysters, prawns, lobster, and a small sauce bottle on ice sits on a red table, surrounded by wine glasses, forks, a plate, and a bowl of chips with guacamole.
A decorative glass dessert bowl filled with colorful tapioca pearls, whipped cream, fruit slices, and corn leaves sits on a dark marble table, with a spoon and a lamp in the dimly lit background.

Description

Limusina is a new Mexican restaurant by Quality Branded, inspired by New York City in the 1970s and ‘80s. In that era, nothing was more luxurious than a limousine. The restaurant space was once a taxi and limo depot, a parking garage where drivers would take their cars off-duty to be serviced, grab a bodega coffee and snacks, and loosen their ties before heading back uptown to pick up their clients. The restaurant mirrors that juxtaposition of glam and grit. Limusina has luxe, rich materials and custom fixtures next to raw, exposed concrete columns. Custom light fixtures are affixed to industrial, unfinished ceilings. The restaurant reflects the neighborhood it's in, on the cusp of the shiny, new Hudson Yards and the gritty lower Midtown. Menu favorites include fresh aguachile, queso fundido, long-bone short rib quesabirria, and churritos for dessert.
