Le Jardinier

Description

Le Jardinier is a verdant, sophisticated restaurant at the base of a chic residential tower on the corner of Lexington Avenue and 53rd Street. Helming the kitchen is a Michelin-starred French chef, Alain Verzeroli. Verzeroli is a protégé of the late Joël Robuchon, who was originally slated to be the culinary force here. Look for beautiful vegetable compositions, Dover sole for two and lobster with smoked potatoes. Each meal starts with an “amuse-juice” (perhaps kale, pineapple and ginger), and all house-baked breads are gluten-free.
