La Roja de Todos

Description

This casual Chilean café in Corona is tucked in a mall off 14th Avenue, deep in Queens near the Whitestone Bridge. Plenty of locals manage to find it just fine, filling the dining room that has some oil paintings of Valparaiso (where the owner is from) and straw hats hanging on the walls. Hot dog fans should get the completo, the bun overstuffed with sauerkraut, tomato, smashed avocado and mayo. There are several huge, meaty sandwiches as well as ceviche, fried fish and sweet leche asada. Four screens serve as magnets for fans of soccer when Chile plays.
