Description

An outpost of design and hospitality pioneers Roman and Williams, La Mercerie is situated within Roman and Williams Guild in SoHo. The critically acclaimed restaurant seamlessly blends French culinary tradition with elevated takes on classic furnishings. Chef-partner Marie-Aude Rose and executive chef Héloïse Fischbach present refined yet relaxed Parisian fare on handcrafted tableware, available for purchase next door. Signature dishes include citrus-pickled beets, salmon atop a crispy crepe, and a warm chocolate chip-hazelnut cookie served with house-made ice cream. These pair perfectly with a French-focused wine list and ingredient-driven cocktails at the intimate five-seat bar. The museum-worthy private dining room downstairs regularly hosts New York’s design and fashion elite.
