La Guli Pastry Shop

Founded by an Italian immigrant whose family members still run the establishment and located on the same Astoria street it has occupied since 1937, this classic bakery puts old-world care into all of its homemade confections. Regulars rave about the buttery cookies and rich, ricotta cream–filled cannoli.
