Kissaki Sushi - Bowery

Description

Kissaki means "point of a sword" or "cutting edge" in Japanese, both of which apply here since the sushi bar is curved like a knife blade. Executive chef Edgar Valerio (formerly of Jewel Bako) mixes traditional and nontraditional flavor and technique to create inventive omakase, and a la carte sushi is available at the cocktail bar.
