Joe & Pat’s Pizzeria

Description

A slice of Staten Island has dropped into Manhattan. The owners of Joe & Pat’s, an Italian restaurant founded in 1960, took over the century-old Lanza’s in the East Village and spruced up its vintage interior. Its signature thin crust pizza, plus chicken parmigiana, fried calamari, baked clams and meatball panini and are among the offerings. There’s a small bar up front, a wine list with several affordable bottles and family photos plastering the walls.
