Izakaya Moku

Out of Business

Description

In Japan, it's common for restaurants to be hidden away on various floors of office-like buildings, and the practice is alive and well in Koreatown. Izakaya Moku is up one level from the street, making it feel like a secret hideaway. There are comfortable round booths for groups and a series of semi-enclosed tables, as well as a karaoke room that can be rented for private parties. To drink is a broad selection of sake and soju, and on the menu you'll find a wide range of sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, katsu, yakitori and grilled fish. It's a clubby late-night hangout popular with young Asians.
