Description

For many years, Slow Food USA cofounder Patrick Martins served as the middleman between small family farms and the City's best chefs; this is his first brick-and-mortar venture. Pork, steaks, sausages, chicken, goat and rabbit all come from sources where humane treatment is a priority. The attractively displayed meats also have more flavor than you'll find in your average supermarket meat case, making them worth the extra cost. An added bonus: these tasty, superior meats (along with Saxelby cheeses and a variety of condiments) are used in the excellent sandwiches made at the shop.
