Description
The lobby-level restaurant in Life Hotel, once the storied <em>Life</em> magazine headquarters, Henry offers a vibrant dinner experience near Herald Square, NoMad and the Empire State Building. Led by James Beard–nominated chef Joseph “JJ” Johnson, Henry at Life Hotel features his Pan-African culinary style—a cuisine influenced by all of the diasporas of the African experience. Dishes are inspired by African, Latin and Caribbean flavors, with Johnson drawing on his own Caribbean heritage as well as his travels.
