Description
The intimate, completely pescatarian restaurant Gloria looks like a glass-walled jewel box: tasteful and chic, it's perched on a quiet street in Hell’s Kitchen, featuring royal blue leather booths, striking geometric lucite light pendants and floor-to-ceiling windows. Vegetable-forward dishes are locally sourced from the Eastern Seaboard, and the fish is ultra-fresh and creatively presented. Mexico-inspired tilefish tartare al Pastor comes with pineapple and corn, and the lovely Maine Jonah crab is draped with bouillabaisse sabayon. Sommelier Phil Johnson, previously of natural wine mecca Contra, assembled the all-natural wine list.
