Frank

Description

Convivial, clamorous and altogether lacking in intimacy, Frank feels every bit like the setting of an oversized family gathering—without the dysfunction. Keeping a watchful eye over the proceedings from the soft-hued walls are black and white photographs of owner Frank Prisinzano’s ancestors, the inspirations for the eatery’s traditional Italian cooking and Old World feel. The open kitchen dispatches excellent homemade pastas like a weighty gnocchi in a tomato and basil sauce and familiar entrées like a succulent roasted rosemary chicken alongside a mound of mashed potatoes and rich gravy. Go ahead and stuff yourself—that elbow you just whacked isn’t your Uncle Rick’s.
